1. Information We Collect
Account information
When you sign in, we collect your email address and display name. Authentication takes place on the web; the Software does not collect or store your password. The Software stores an authentication token on your device in encrypted form.
License and device information
For license authentication, we collect one or more identifiers generated from your device (machine ID). This is used only to manage concurrent device limits and does not involve collecting files or activity on the device.
AI feature usage data
When you use AI composition, the prompts you enter and project information needed for generation (such as tempo, time signature, key, track structure, and note data) are sent to the Company’s servers. We also record usage volume (such as request counts).
If you use the feature with your own API key, this information is sent directly to the external generative AI service without passing through the Company’s servers. In that case, the Company does not collect prompts or project information.
Access logs
In connection with access to this website and update-check communications, we collect ordinary server logs such as IP address, user agent, and date/time.
Payment information
Payments are processed by a payment processor. The Company does not collect or store payment details such as credit card numbers.
Information we do not collect
The Software does not embed analytics tools that track usage or crash-reporting features. Project files you create, exported audio or MIDI files, and information about loaded VST plug-ins remain only on your device and are not sent to the Company (except project information sent for generation when you use AI features).
This is a reference translation. In the event of any discrepancy, the Japanese version shall prevail.
2. Purposes of Use
- Providing the Service, authentication, and license management.
- Running AI composition features and aggregating or limiting usage.
- Billing and management of licenses and AI usage-limit resets.
- Detecting and preventing unauthorized use.
- Responding to inquiries.
- Incident response, quality improvement, and statistical analysis (after processing into a form that cannot identify individuals).
- Notifying you of important announcements.
3. Provision to and Entrustment of Third Parties
Except as required by law, the Company does not provide personal information to third parties without your consent. However, to the extent necessary to provide the Service, the Company entrusts handling to the following providers:
- Generative AI providers: For AI composition, prompts and project information needed for generation are sent to AI model providers (including model providers connected via OpenRouter). Handling of transmitted data is also subject to those providers’ policies.
- Payment processors: Processing of charges and billing.
- Cloud infrastructure providers: Provision of servers and delivery infrastructure for the Service.
If you use AI features with your own API key, communications are sent directly to that external service without passing through the Company’s servers. In that case, data handling follows the external service’s policy.
4. Transfers Outside Japan
The providers described above may include businesses located outside Japan. Accordingly, when you use AI composition, prompts and project information may be processed on servers outside Japan. The Company takes appropriate protective measures through contracts with such providers and other means.
5. Retention Period
- Account and license information: while the account remains active, and after cancellation for any period required by law.
- Records of AI feature usage volume: for the period needed for billing and preventing unauthorized use.
- Access logs: deleted after a reasonable period from collection.
Personal information that is no longer needed is deleted without delay.
6. Cookies and Browser Storage
This website uses browser local storage to retain settings such as display language. It does not use cookies or analytics tools for advertising delivery or behavioral tracking.
7. Security Measures
The Company takes necessary and appropriate measures to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal information. Communications are conducted over encrypted channels.
Authentication credentials stored by the Software on a device are protected using credential-protection mechanisms provided by the operating system (Keychain on macOS; Data Protection API on Windows). Where those mechanisms are unavailable, the credentials are encrypted using information unique to that device before being stored.
8. Requests for Disclosure, Correction, Deletion, and Related Actions
You may request disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, and suspension of provision to third parties regarding your personal information held by the Company. Please contact the inquiry desk below. After verifying your identity, we will respond in accordance with applicable law.
